i have just got my calipers and the braket is built in the caliper thee r big red callipers r thee the wrong calipers for the job the guy i bought them off said they are 944 caliper

I think you might mean that the calipers have "ears" on them so that the mounting bolts are in the axial direction. In that case, they sound like they are for the rear axel. They could be for the 944 but for the rear. Sorry dude but you may have gotten F**cked.

they fit on the front as ive tryed today and the standard disc fits they are of a 944 front
