UrS6 Rear brake options

Hey guys, been a long time lurker, but figure id finally post away.

I've been wondering if anyone has tried retrofitting a D2 A8 rear caliper onto a UrS6. The reason for this would be to run a slightly bigger pad as I figured out how to run a 300mm b6 S4 rotor.

I already have everything ready though instead of using my stock rears, which are seized, id like to use the D2 A8 calipers as they have bigger teeth to encompass a bigger pad. They have the similar style hand brake cable setup, though I'm wondering if the brake lines and if the actual brake cable is similar or the same.

Any info / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try to source a cheap caliper from a junkyard. I was hoping that someone did this swap before, that way I knew for sure that Im not spending money on something that will or will not fit, but either way, guess I need to pioneer.

So I spent a few hours looking at offsets and rotor sizes, and decided that the best route is to stay with the Urs6 caliper.

I will be using the 034 B5 300mm brackets in conjunction with Mercedes C43 AMG 300mm rear rotors with have a pretty similar hat size (means one or two shims to get just right), along with a 22mm vented mid section. Because the rotor is a little thicker, I'm going to look into B5 S4 rear pads, which aren't as thick as the C4 S6. The two pads combined are 1.5mm narrower than the C4 S6 pads but still are the same width.

The most difficult part of this setup is having to port the lug holes and the hub bore on the rotors, as Mercedes uses a marginally smaller hub, and smaller lug bolts. I will post up test fit results when I get everything together. (First I have to rebuild my calipers though... =/)
