    Non S2 brake upgrade

Car is a B4 Tdi with S2 front hubs. I don't want S2 brakes as the discs and pads are expensive and the car does mileage. Its already had new 280mm vented disc upgrade on there, I just bought some 280x22mm A4 front discs to get the 5x112. Looking on etka figured they can't be too different, but the bell spacing is miles off.

Obvious option is to just drill the new PCD on the old disc, but I'm having the hubs redone to house 5x100 at the same time. Can't imagine 5x100, 5x112 and 4x108 would all fit on one disc too well.

So my thoughts are maybe the 288 or the 312x25mm from the VAG range. Cheap enough for replacements and a decent enough upgrade. Does anyone know what caliper would be needed for either of these upgrades? And would it need a larger master cylinder?

Would the difference in TDi/S2 MC not cause pedal travel? Etka says the S2 uses a 25.4mm MC and the Tdi a 22.2mm.

Was sure my Urs4 had some real dodgy looking discs, but looking on ETKA there are 2 different types. Assume you mean the 314x30mm discs? My issue is I can't imagine those discs are going to be £18 each for Pagids like the others, and probably a bit overkill for my needs? Its only a daily that gets a bit of stick.
