I am having some calipers brackets made to convert my RS 2 322 mm setup to run 996 330mm discs, will also require a 8 mm front wheel space if running standard wheels
Anyone interested in some brackets or have any thoughts on it
This is a standard conversion, brackets are available off the shelf from VRS / Bambridge
You use GT3 discs but you need 10mm spacers on the front wheels. I run this setup with no issues.
Cool, could do with some new discs soon, so that would be interesting.
Just that I'm not a fan of spacers, certainly not 10mm... But neither am I fan of paying 600€ for 2 front 322mm discs for my rs2

Cool, I've got the spacers so should contact Bambridge or VRS for some adapters then.
If you have old school big reds they Have 130mm mounting where as the brackets supplied by bambridge are 142mm, my be he could supply a couple of special orders of 130mm mounting ?
I have done this using 996 calipers (actually off a 997 but believe they're the same) and 996 turbo discs (330mm) not sure if its relevant to what you're asking. No wheel spacers required. home made brackets

Cool info, thanks!
But I'll be using my OEM big reds, and I believe those require different brackets?
The 322mm disc sits 7.5mm more inwards compared to the 330mm 996 disc (77mm height vs 69.5mm). This means that disc sits more towards the spokes of the wheel, meaning a different bracket is need.
If I'm correct, that would have to be a bracket that moves the caliper 4mm upwards (since the disc is 8mm higher) and 7.5mm more towards the wheel.
