    Goodridge hoses for monoblocks -Opinions

My front brake hoses are cobbled together using various braided hoses off other cars, its functional but far from ideal, i'd like to get some 1 piece ones made. And my rears are getting crusty so will replace those too, they arent an issue as i could use standard goodridge spec for the rears.
Ive trawled quite a few threads on here to find info on lengths and fittings for creating a goodridge one piece flexi hose for use with front 996 calipers.
I intend to get some made by Merlin on the weekend, so want to get the info ready for then.
I found this post with a drawing for an 800mm hose:

Is this the optimum solution for a one piece hose? Anybody got any improvements on this? End fittings, hose length, fittings for securing the hose etc...

    Thanks in advance

This is what I have, a one piece Goodridge hose from the inner wing to the caliper and it's been good with no problems.

I kept the brake hose joining bracket on the back of the strut and used it to pass the Goodridge hose though with a short length of 3/8th rubber hose around the outside of the hose to protect it from any sharp edge on the bracket.

Can't recall the length of my Goodridge hose - which I had custom made by them - but I could measure it if you like.

I'd be interested in knowing the length of the hose needed plus the fittings as I need to order some.

If merlin make them up for you re2500 can you let us know what the price is

When you get lines made up try to get circlip type fittings on the chassis end else securely fitting them might be an issue as per:

I ended up using a OEM Porsche hoses and hardlines on the front.

Cheers guys! So 800 mm and a circlip female m10x1 fitting. Is the other end fitting correct? Or am I better off with a straight male fitting into the Caliper?

I'd say definitely stick with the 90 degree bend.
