    ABS ECU cross reference

Right I have been offered an ABS ECU from an Audi 80E 2.0 auto 1992 for a very sensible price
Does anyone know if this will be compatible with mine ?

    Part numbers from mine are:
    VAG 857 907 379B

    BOSCH 0 265 103 020

    085

    Serial number: 7462255

Any help from ETKA Gurus gratefully received

    Many thanks
    Dom

Just been offered this one ?

Someone has come back with an ABS ECU from a Audi 80 non-Q
        with the part numbers :
        Bosch 0 265 100 037(085)
        vag 443 907 379 c
        serial num 26422063

Anyone have any Ideas if it will work ?
If Not I have found another used one elsewhere, but its double the cost of this one
        Cheers
        Dom

            OK Thanks Martyn

Looks like I am going to have to stump up for the other one and then Knock the cost of it off what I owe him

I am sure he will be over the moon about that But he gets a reasonable amount of work off me and I always settle up in cash straight away, so I think he can wear his own *ukup this time

Going down there later to pull the sensors and clean them up and a couple of other bits, so if that doesnt cure it then I shall order the ECU.

Problem is, an Hours Labour at the Audi Stealers to check the fault codes is about the same as the ECU cost, they may end up telling me I need the ECU as well and its then doubled in Cost IYSWIM ?

            Its all a PITA

Thanks for the heads up by the way
            Cheers
