    Lexus LS430 Calipers

    Hi All,

A buddy of mine involved with Sub*rus sent me a pic of calipers he bought off e bay for his Impreza project. For stg £150. They are 4 pot alloy monoblock radial mount unit, front caliper from the Lexus LS430. Apparently they are the latest must have for the Impreza mob due to their low cost, very light weight and decent availability. They have 42mm pistons. I'm told that they're lighter than the equivalent sized Brembo offering
Has anyone on this Forum come across these before?

cant see that being better or lighter than the STi brembos, 46mm pistons in them from memory

just looking at prices of STi Brembos, damn they are dear now!!!

youd be better off getting a XYZ 340/360mm KIT for about £800 bolt on, and forget about it rather than making brackets for 10tr old Lexus ugly jobbies IMO

Is there no crossover tube? That's interesting.

        The lexus uses a 314mm x 30mm thick disc.

Stronger than the nornal porsche offering based on piston sizes.
