best brakes for 17 inch wheels

I read on forum about the Brembo caliper upgrades with S8 323 mm discs.
What's the biggest setup that fits under 17 inch wheels. Thanks!

I've had 332 under my cheapo fox alloys but depends on calipers really. Cossie boys run huge setups under 17s... Cue Sean

think the 6 pots are a bit bigger caliper. no chance of 6 pot and 345 under 17".

I have 350x34mm Porsche Cup disks with GT2 6 pots, under 17" Porsche Cup reps here. It's tight, but it fits. Just watch those wheel weights.
It really depends on the wheel, rim shape, offsets and so on.

The same setup is still tight under an 18" BBS LM, because of the split rim design.

                        350mm. gotta be very close.

I found the bbs split rims clear the calipers by about 5m. plenty of space on the bbs rc 18"

I found stones catch on the 17" marking the inside of the rims.

                          I said it was tight.
But I also wanted the best setup I could squeeze under my 17s.

Excuse the manky old spare wheel.

                            I got 1 or 2 mm more, that's all.

                            the brakes are good though.

                            are 350mm 1 or 2 piece disc.
