Audi brake noise reduction Tech Servic Bulletin - including sanding discs

Finally found the technical service bulletin that shows sanding the disc to remove rust and debris. No mention of sandpaper type other than 80 grit.

Now that Paul N. is back and some people don't like to be directed away from this forum to my info posts on quattroworld to get info and learn something instead of just being handed their answers, I think that is doable.
