    need disc part number

since we have ****ti rules in Denmark, fore upgrading i have an idea about using audi tt calipers(312*25),since you can mount our calipers(s2) on the vr6 and the like´s,i have look throu the old treads and read there is a us spec A8 disc 312*25 could some provide me the part number please.
i now it´s not as good as the porsche caliper´s but i haven´t got 2000 euro´s fore at kit that will pass danish mot(tüv approved),so i will chaet if i can(safeli that is).

    Thanks in advance

RIX, don't use 25mm thick discs, they'll be about as bad as they are now. You need a thicker disc, 30 or 32mm is a minimum.

i think the bigger disc will help a little,i don´t think the caliper from the tt will handle the 30mm,but when i get my hands on a loner i will tjek,i was looking on ebay.de last night, there was one person that said that u can use the hp2 caliper with 314*30 or 323*30 on the s2 is that correkt, cause i have always heard that you can´t use that caliper.but last year i owen an s3 2002 model for 6 month that weight´s 1588 kilo´s,my avant weight´s 1560 kilo´s,so my first idea should work,i had no problem´s with fading on the s3,and that was with oe disc and pads,i would use zimmerman/ate and ferrodo pads,
any more input will be happy resivede.
Thanks for the input so fare

the HP2 caliper will not fit the S2 strut without major work. The bolt holes on the HP2 caliper are much further apart

a little up date,i have had look at the disc from the a6 avant the one with the 10 holes, and the hat height(ithink it´s called that) is about 9mm smaller,so it´s not a direkt bolt on(9mm spacers for the carier and it will work with tt callipers),but i can now make an extra bracket so that our 2 piston calipers can be mounted with the disc,my next move is to tjek the part number suppliede above, and if it´s the same as the disc i have messured, the ill make the bracket for both ithink, and the see what i can afford, but my idea is looking good so far,and iknow that mihnea and others say that 25mm is too thin but when i get an idea then ill have to try it out :mischeif: ,ill post my progress,i will not make alot before iget my sommer wheels on,couse a the moment i only got 15 winters on,but next year ill have referbished 16¨ passat alu (9spoke) for winter(being cleaned as we speak, and painted during the summer in titanium/gray metalic) .
fouther input is welcome, ore if you have questions.
                  Best Regards
