I ordered new rear rotors for my RS2 a few years back and used the part no.
951 352 041 01 (This is the same as the Porsche 928 ) They fit perfectly.

The proper front discs for the big brake kit are two piece. They use a 993 turbo rotor and an RS2 only bell which has a specific hat size. You can't use the 993 bell (as from memory it's 5mm too high). It is possible to use the 964 Turbo 2 discs, but they're a one piece, which will work but are not technically correct. The rear disc is a 928 GTS disc, BUT Audi had it drilled. There isn't a Porsche equivalent, so if you want matching drilling you have to buy them from Audi.

            Hope that helps?

              This is the usual legend?

Please would you explain how and in which way the 964 Turbo solid discs are not technically correct.
Bearing in mind that the Brembo calipers on the 964 Turbo are the same as Porsche 993 and RS2 big reds....

They're not technically correct because if you had the big brake kit fitted from the factory, it came with two piece discs and not 964 discs, the same as if you order them from Audi today. If you read my previous post, I didn't say the 964 disc wouldn't work. Also, just to clarify the two piece discs are not floating.

                  That's merely a formallity/originality issue not a technical issue.
The RS2 comes originally with a solid disc of 304 mm and technically and formally that's correct.
The caliper carriers are the same for the big reds and the same remains the hubs.

Let's say that the 964 Turbo discs are not correct in an originality meaning.
Technically they're a correct fit without any problem whatsoever.

"Technically" those solid discs are a big saving and a very convenient and efficient solution.

I understand where you're coming from, however, the original topic question was about the factory drilled discs not 964 discs that happen to fit.

If you have the RS2 bell, you can swap the worn out rotor for less money than buying the 964 disc too.

LGK60 is correct - I have BTDT with the Porsche replacement route and encountered exactly the issue he describes.

                        Ok guys...

My english it's definetely poor but good enough to understand the subtle joke on where I come from...
By the way I live 60 miles from Brembo premises and I have firends working there who are having a good smile on reading this....
Again then just for the sake of other RS2 owners...

What it's the "issue" involved with the use of the 965 discs that you had ecountered?
Pretty please with sugar on top can you be technical?
                        Like what's the problem involved?
As per they aren't good because...
@scillysles Am I right we did get trough this on RS246 forum?

                        Stefano

                        P.S.
Changing rotors and keep the bells...
Clever and money saver... Of course money saver just for us in the depressed part of europe...
Can you then post an Audi part number for the sole rotors without bells?

If you have friends that work at Brembo, can you get a stash of the RS2-only drilled rear discs smuggled out so we don't have to pay Audi £600 a pair

Let's not get too hung up on the use of the word 'technical'... they are 'technically' correct in that they fit perfectly, but you could say they are incorrect on 'technicality' and therefore technically incorrect. We like to use the same word in different ways in England to confuse all you foreigners...

The genuine front discs as stated by others are specific to the RS2 as well although they do have a 965 part number stamped on them. I have a used and brand new set sat in my garage. I have the 964 turbo single-piece discs fitted at present, I was thinking of swapping them over but really can't see the point - they work just as well!

Ross thanks for enligthen me on the albion language..
We gave born to Macchiavelli....and we do master as well on our language with tecnico/tecnicamente/tecnicismo...

Nice to hear another one that had used those 964 discs and to put (perhaps) an end on this legend that they do not fit on the RS2, not that I have'nt been trough already with Scillysles on this with almost the same words....

                              Sourcing from Brembo....
Not easy in all honesty I tried my chances but as soon that you mention Porsche codes everyone says.... Can't do...
I reckon that Porsche has a pretty strong exclusive contract with them.
