  • Brackets for Porsche 996.351.429/430 with Mercedes 330x32

Decided I'm going to go 996.351.429/430 calipers with Merc 330x32 discs, so I'm looking for brackets...

    ¿¿¿Where did you get yours???

Is not 32 too small for those calipers?

I believe to heard that they uses 34 thickness originally?

Edit: maybe 1 mm each side worth

Though you said 30 instead of 32

They are but 1mm either side is indeed easily dealt with. 996.351.425/6 are originally 28mm but we all run 30mm

        No one?

I've had a quote for 5 sets, so if anyone else is looking for some brackets, then this may be an option. if not, then I'll look at the problem myself and see what works best.

Any idea of a rough price Andy? And what sort of price do the Merc discs come in at?

Will this fit under 17" rims?

          Cheers

Not 100% sure which 330x32 Merc discs they're for but discs seem to be around £100 a pair.

5 sets of carriers came in at ~£150 per pair.

People later will fight to buy these 4pot calipers
Because there are not too often for sale... And much times a bit overpriced

150£ carriers +100£ discs sounds very good!

There are 2 standard discs that will work, one is also available in cross-drilled, the other is not. Then there are the usual raft of drilled, grooved etc. discs. Prices start at well under £100 and up to £200 for brembo HC cross drilled.

National brakes also make them - NBD1271 (plain for CLS) or NBD1278 (possible x-drilled, as they're for an SL), so I'll contact camskill for a price on grooved versions, like I've run on the front and rear of mine for quite a while. Expect £150 or so a pair, which is very good for decent grooved discs.

                http://www.national-auto.co.uk/asset...e_2013_apr.pdf

Brembo part numbers are 09.9825.10 (09.9825.20 Xdrill) and 09.R104.10.

One is taller than the usual A8, the other is shorter...

                These will fit under 17s using 996 C4S / Turbo / 997 calipers.

I've got drawings for both...to be honest there isn't too much variation except for the bolt holes in the calipers....
