  • Textar vs. Brembo

Has an experience with the brake pads both manufacturers made?

Fine for road use but unless you've got huge discs, the stock tiad pads are no good for anything else. What car / brakes / usage? Difficult yo properly answer without that info.

I drive mostly on the highway.
      Installed is the following:

Front Axle: Porsche Cayenne brake caliper with 360x34mm drilled Zimmermann.
Rear axle: Audi S6 4B brake caliper with 330x22mm original Audi brake discs.

I have an offer for Textar brake pads.
And an offer for Brembo brake pads.

      Costs are identical.

As far as I know Brembo uses Galfer compound for their pads.
I bought once Brembo and when I saw Galfer stamped on them i went directly for Galfer pads since.

I found Brembo/Galfer more silent and more reliable on the first bite at cold start where Textar were always a bit noisy/squeaking even with new selfadhesive sheams.
Galfer were convenient in the order of 20 something euros respect to Brembo

Pads fitted on RS2 Big Reds with 964 turbo 322 discs rear with Zimmerman discs

Bear in mid that I use them only on public roads and that I have kids....
