    Brake disc ventilation?

Is there any diffrence performance vise if the brake disc is vented to the outside or the inside of the hub?

No clue about the main difference but with the inner ventilation intake you could run an air pipe from the front to keep cool the discs. if no cooling pipes are there then I think it's the same thing...or not??

    Cheers!

On the S4 I had the discs were different looking at OEM which were worn out and the Zimmermann I replaced them with. Think the OEM vented to the inside of the hub and the Zimmermann to the outside. Or vice versa, anyway, no difference to be felt.

Lars, yes it's the OEM dics that are vented to inside, I also had B5 S4 OEM discs before, but now I did order MTEC grooved ones and they are vented to the outside. I was thinking of making airducts to the front brakes, like FabS6 was telling, but I have to forget them now. So I just thinking of is there any benefit of the vents to the outside..?
