URS4 brake master cylinder repair kit

I've noticed some brake fluid on the brake pedal, which suggests that brake cylinder is dying. I wondered if there is repair kits available, or only way is to buy new unit?

I think that you need to do some reading. The brake master cylinder is in the engine compartment. The brake servo (which controls the pressure from the brake pressure accumulator) is in the interior:

Possibly the Brake SERVO (aka Booster)

Janis,sorry to say it pal but have you not thought this car is a bit of a pup? It just seems one thing after another for you. I feel for you mate! On the upside there should be a few brake servos available on ebay so i would have a look there.All the best with it.

If you want a perfect car, buy new, that's how i see it. I can't wish for 22 year old car to have no issues. I would buy it again. It is what it is, i won't sell it because there are issues cropping up.

There are a lot of good points too about the car.

That's where you are wrong, if i had free time, i wouldn't be able to afford her. I work 6 days a week, most of the time, doing some work on her before or after work.

All of my searches only ever showed up as rebuilt, i.e. some firm did the rebuilds. I just checked brakeparts.co.uk and found nothing (not available). But you could phone them and find out what they know:

That's a bummer. It isn't very bad yet, so I have time to shop around and see if I can get it rebuild. ON ebay.de they go for about 120-140 EUR
