    Brake Bias Valve

Anyone fitted one to the rear circuit to run without ABS? Just looking in to this for trackdays rather than the ABS cutting in...

Me But with 324mm Focus RS discs and BMW Brembos on the front and the stock brakes on the back. In this combination it's useless as even with no bias valve the rears weren't locking before the fronts. I have removed the ABS unit completely. After I put the bias valve I had it tightened all the way down. With bigger rear brakes it will be necessary. What information are you after, exactly?

With the ABS off, I can lock the rears.

I was having a look at the ABS system today and there is actually a pressure regulaor in there already, pre ABS pump (the cigar shaped part at the front of the pump on the ABY) - part number b 8A0 612 303. I need to understand how this functions, as both the front and rear circuits enter and then exit to the ABS unit. If this combines the circuits, then that's problematic, if not then I can remove this and replace it with my own adjustable version.

Anyone looked at one of these pressure regs?

There is some info on S2central

Seems like the earlier cars had a less powerful BPR, so that may be worth a shot... anyone got one?

You should get a set of mechanical gauges and get the corner pressures from your stock set up and then just put a valve in line. I have a AP one you can have to play with just cover the postage.
