I believe it looked to much like Kool-Aid to suit the bureaucracy, hence the ban. So now I import it from friends overseas.

        Ach, what sillyness.
I've used it in the past, was reasonebly priced in the US back in the day, but well overpriced over here.
I just fill a 0.5L soda bottle at each caliper in order to get a real flushing. Actually two bottles at the first caliper (right rear) as that one gets the contents of the MC reservoir as well.

Yeah it's fine when you mix it with vodka - isn't that what blue WKD is anyway ?

It has a warning on the bottle stating that it is no compliant with some regulation and not legal for road use due to colour

I bought some of this last week, I wondered why it now has the warning on the front

There's no laws in the UK stating brake fluid has to be a certain colour right??

Not as far as I am aware but how bloated has the us state become if they employing people to decide the colour of brake fluid? All the other social problems must have been solved.

You probably find the colour is regulated to stop some ****wit mixing it with blue coolant or something.
