I'll be trying a different upgrade in the very near future...

It uses the original rear calipers with a custom carrier and a two piece disk fabricated from the original rear disk hat and a 320mm BMW disk.

I know of someone who's already done this and it appears to work well.
At just under £200 it could be a cheap alternative to the others that are available.

Anyone know what the dimensions (disc size) and fittings (? mounting brackets) for the RS2 rear calipers are?
Will these just bolt onto the S2 Avant? Are there any other porsche rear calipers which have the same fittings as the porsche RS2 calipers?
Just a thought, wouldn't this be a straight upgrade for the slipper brigade?
Just realised, the discs would have the wrong pcd for the holes, but is there any other disc with the correct fitting, diameter and hat height for these calipers?

It's not that easy as i'm finding... Marks post with all the part numbers and how to is the best! using S8 alloy rear calipers, they are prtty cheap really! but which ever way you cut it, you're looking at 500-600 for this mod. Then bigger wheels ... looks like for now I may have to get a stock caliper as I cannot afford to get bigger wheels yet... and I don't want to have to buy a cheap set of wheels just to do the brakes... I want the 'proper' BBS wheels, do it once.. do it right...

You like me new Riva David? sweet thing isn't she :-) It looks a lot like Tom's Coupe don't you think?
