You can get 6 pot cayenne calipers for not much more than those calipers.

345 mm is too big for the 996 calipers, IIRC max dia
That will work Is ~ 335mm.

345 didnt fit the 996 unless you started machining them...

Need to sketch the discs next to each other, to investigate pad overlap.

Yes, saw that but didn't really see the point in knocking 5mm off the diameter...

Well part of the pad overhang or caliper fouling issues are not understood!
Strangely the S8 used the older 993tt type caliper with some Audi modification to the mounting bosses with presumably no such problems. Of course these are the older two piece rather than the monobloc.
Its the same issue more or less when tyring to use the A8 360mm disc with the 996TT caliper. Porsche upped the disc from 330mm to 350mm and thats about it with any issues.

I was looking at a 345mm option with 429 and 430 big reds. There are a set of Mercedes discs that bolt on fairly easily, it's just the custom brackets that are the problem. I read that VRS have done it and I tried to get set of the brackets but didn't get anywhere so sold the calipers. Bambridge or someone from VRS might have more info.

Pick up a 345x30 disc. Then you will not want to use it! They weigh a ton!

Are you planning on making a new carrier or just spacing out from the existing one?
