    RS4 B7 rear brakes on S2 avant

    Hello.
Does someone here know if the RS4 B7 rear brake carrier for 324mm discs fits on S2 avant?

    RS4 B7 Setup

The mounting of the RS4 B7 Setup on the rear axle is possible.
You can do this with some modification at the Hub and the wheel bearing housing.

Its not the same as the S4 B7 avant brake upgrade. The rear RS4 B7 hub carrier is totally different to the S4.

Yes, the RS4 B7 conversion is very different to the S4 B7.
The carrier and the caliper are different.
You need a different hub and have to grind a little bit from the wheel bearing housing.
The next thing is that the bolts from the carrier are bigger that the original one.
The holes must be changed for a M12 bolt.
I must look i think i have some photos from the conversion. We have built two cars with the RS4 B7 brakes.

While S4 B7 are smaller at 300mm they may be easier to fit. Others may confirm this, that they are plug and play with just suitable brake hoses.

Having said that you may want the bigger 324mm RS4 discs you've mentioned.

But for legal street use, the 300mm S4 disks should be up to the job ?

The front discs, (Brakes), do the majority of the work.

            Just my tuppence.

Yes, the S4 B7 conversion is plug and play and much cheaper then the RS4 B7 brake.
We have built some cars with the S4 B7 brake. This in combination with a 347x30 disc with the S8 caliper is a very good setup. You have a good balance from front to rear with this setup. The RS4 B7 conversion at the rear axle is more for a bigger brake at the front. We have built this with the 8-Pot caliper and the 365mm disc and a 6-Pot caliper with a 360mm disc.

                      B8 S4 has 330 x 22, maybe you can use with a C4 carrier and bracket?
