Did anyone done similar upgrade? My friend got a pair from his S4 since he go on rs4 calipers. Is there a lot of work to fit them?
I belive this is OEM caliper from that car http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_S4--2.7T/ES248934/
Quite easy fit on the UFO struts. I used also the S4 b5 321x30 discs. Needs 2mm shimms between the caliper, and bore the bolt holes bbigger on the strut.

I still wish I knew what the differences between a C4 UrS4/S6 HP2 caliper and the B5 S4 2.7tt HP2 caliper were (besides the older one used both cast iron and aluminum as opppsed to the later one and its all aluminum castings). Finding pads over here is much easier for the B5 S4 HP2 calipers.
of course it's an upgrade
as Thuppu suggested go for it ... use A8 front discs
I used A8 HP2 and I had to take off some material from the caliper bracket to fit them onto UFO strut !?
and btw, if you use old screws from UFOs you'll be OK, I drove like that for more than a year
@ UrS4boy - I dont think there is any difference except those you numbered ... even a 323mm disc setup uses same calipers, as far as I know
Sure the old iron HP2's are different than the newer alu/iron HP2's. You can't use the same pads, and you can't fit the same service parts, seals and boots. Just google for pics, then you see.

The discs are not siting on ufo's,there is 1mm gap.I was adviced to remove that 1mm from the inside of the disc so they can sit properly? What you think abouth this guys?
