The Audi A8 rotors ( Disks) are thicker than the S2 disks. The S2 had the same front calipers throughout it's production run, Girling G60.
There is no quick and easy fix I'm afraid. The S4 had 2 different calipers, early and late. IIRC there was the UFO disks and there was a 4 pot caliper with small pads, this may be better but I don't know. Cossy Killer had some, maybe he could comment.
hp2 caliper is said not to vork on our cars,i myself am working on making a bracket so i can put the 312 *25 disc on with the oe caliper,´se my tread "need disc part number",ill
