This is a subject I would like to know more about, anyone got any links to good information about what fits what?
I have just done a very simple converstion to my A3 quattro, just involves different carriers and discs, same pads and calipers, so easy as you can get.
I am assuming carriers aren't so much of an issue with 4/6 pots because the capliers do all the work? I like the idea of calipers from other cars and this must be increasing in opotions with the number of "Jeeps" etc with Brembos?Comment

dont forget to upgrade rears too, as car nose will dive like a m***f*** on braking

A bit late now, but if your inspection is strict, I would suggest
Big reds and 323mm disc as per front of an RS2 painted black.
Black painted UrS4/6 rear discs and calipers are a good and relatively inexpensive upgrade from a solid S2 disc.
Both of the above would look fairly factory.
18z (z18?) Porsche calipers with a 360mm disc looks cool, but the weight is a factor on a B4. Just one 360mm disc is heavy to lift.
Ideally if the budget allows, a pair of alloy bells with discs would help. :roll eyes:
Good luck.

I put 18z cayenne calipers with discs 345x32 mm ML 55 AMG and the result has been very good.
within a time would put the rear brakes, but for now it will be the original rear brake
To make INSPECTION, I'll put the original brakes and then put back the Porsche.
Thank you all for the help

Soon to be 17z 6 pot with 330mmx32mm rotors up front and boxster 4 pot calipers
with 300mmx22m 2 piece rotors in the rear. EBC yellow or blue pads all around
and stainless steel lines. If you want good quality BBK on a budget go with boxster
4 pot upfront and urs4/s6 rear calipers and bigger vented rotors.Comment
