    Warning Light....

When i stop spending money on my car i'll get a new camera.

anyway, what does this light mean?

The PAS pump died, replaced it and that seems fine, has it bust the bomb while there was no presure in it or something like that or will it go away as the new pump recharges it. the brakes do seem a bit poo but i have been driving a newer car whilst mine has been off the road so might not be used to them, they wern't great before i seem to recall

    Cheers

The same light comes on in my car when i start from cold, goes after 10 seconds or so.

Think its something to do with brakes, am I right in thinking that if i bleed the system, this will help......?

Probably the bomb and/or PAS pump failure

If you search the Forum for "brake warning light" there's a whole bunch of matches for this - sticking level sensor, bomb/various, fluid/bomb and so on.
Well worth checking out the S2Central section on brakes and ABS too.

Well this morning it seems to have gone away, I assume that it was just recharging or something from the pump haveing been replaced. i'll keep an eye on it but was ok on drive to work this morning.

          Cheers everyone

Does it beep and blink 3 times? Think we've all had it at some point, no idea what causes it as my bomb is fine and it hasn't happened for ages on my car.

well i thought it had gone away...

On way home from work light is back on again and on opening the bonnet there is hydraulic fluid bubbling out the top of the reservoir, where the sensor wire goes into the lid. I am guessing that that is not supposed to happen! the seal looks a bit knackered but is seems to be coming out the middle

can i get a new lid or the reservoir or is the pump doing something wrong?

I am beginning to hate this car now!!
