audi c4 100/s4/s6 rear BBK info amongst other brake stuff

Albert I Pm'd you all the info I could find. For those wondering with urs4/urs6
Apikol makes brackets to run boxster S 4 pot calipers in the rear but no parking
brake solutions. Here is the Apikol part# 09A04124

Porsche part # 996-352-421-13 & 996-352-422-13 I bought used off of Ebay for $300 for 1 pair. Rebuild kit off of Ebay cost $75 OBO

Porsche Brembo 4 pot rebuild kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271751964533...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Powder coat should cost $100-$200 per pair depending on where you go

Here's 2 piece lightweight rotor options for the rear:
    http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_S4-...ors/ES2635798/

or someone can do custom rotors and hats through:

    Here's stainless brake lines:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/231004862261...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Also for front BBK solution for the c4/urs4/urs6 chassis Apikol
makes brackets for base model boxster 4 pot, Boxster S 4 pot,
and brydon engineering makes brackets for US g60 uprights
to accept 17z and 18z calipers.

Need someone to make a damn mechanical parking brake kit so I can run the
rear BBK. I've been speaking to Albert for those interested.

Also it would be cool to find some 2 piece rotors for my 17z BBK upfront.
No one makes hats with the correct offset. The company Mov-it use to make
rotors hats for 993tt rotors for the urs4 but I think they are out of business.

        C4 UrS rear brake options

The first thing is that unless you are seriously tracking your C4 UrS on a regular basis, the need for improving the rear brakes is zero and a waste of time and money better spent elsewhere, e.g. the front brakes since they do most of the work.

However, if you absolutely want to do something, these are the options:

        1. New pads (maybe more agressive materials) and rotors
        2. Move the OE UrS rear caliper out further with a new bracket and use a larger rotor - this is Thuppu's solution - he will sell you the bracket and the rotor is a newer Audi rear rotor
        3. Go to Porsche Brembo caliper with custom brackets and rotors. You need to solve the eBrake issue by adding a smaller, separate caliper connected to the ebrake cable, as in these two examples:

The eBrake caliper is small and black in the "6 o'clock" position:

No one can make you the e-brake solution if not known what rear adapters, calipers and e-brake calipers you are going to use. The problem with many mechanical calipers are that they operate in wrong direction if you would like to use stock cables. To keep it simpple, just use these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wilwood-Forg...-/291316835533 Would need custom adapters though, and propaply some cable extencion. Btw, do you even need a mechanical e-brake in USA, or would a hydraulic one be enough?

I think option 2 is the most 'sensible' if oem is too small / weak.

            NCTS.

I could get away with a hydraulic e brake but I'd much rather have a mechanical one
here in California with hills, mountains, Etc. I will be using Apikol brackets in the rear
which allow you to run boxster S rear calipers. Part numbers for the calipers are
996-352-421-13 and 996-352-422-13. The rotors that must be used are b7 s4 rear
              rotors.

It is Chris M. from Washougal WA (just north of Portland) in the photo below. He added those small black MECHANICAL calipers as parking brakes with his Boxster rear calipers. I am sure he would share the how-to. He is fcarspec1 on quattroworld.

Also @ Thuppu a brembo or wilwood single piston caliper would work for the parking brake.

That caliper you posted would work but I would need someone to make brackets to fit them to the urs6.
The boxster S calipers already have brackets made by Apikol.
