    Advice Needed Urgent

I have just spent a week doing the rear porsche brake conversion and finally finished today, but when i went to fit my wheels i find that they are catching the caliper the wheels i have are Rs4 Et 35 i need around 5mm to clear the caliper i placed three 2mm washers behind the wheels just so i could get the car out of the garage because it's needed but they won't now fit onto the hub, so buying 5mm spacers won't fix it any ideas will i need to get new wheels. feed back most welcome.

As long as your wheels aren't too wide you could try 10mm hubcentric spacers. 10mm is I think the narrowest they do hubcentric spacers, it's not worth messing about with non hubcentric. With 225 tyres at ET25 you should be ok.

Just put 2 of my sons BBs ch Et35 and no problem. i tried to replicate a spacer with the washers but no joy so i thought spacers would also be problem but i guess not.

I run et33 on the back with a 15mm pacer aswell. You need hubcentric spacers. I can get these for you if required?

Ray I run 245s on 8.5J, they fill the arches perfectly, don't stick out and no scuffing. You won't have any problems mate.

I also run 10mm spacers at the rear with 17x8J ET35 225/45R17 and it works a treat and looks better to boot.
