when I was in Essen motorshow 2004 my eyes sticked at trickstuff carbon brake disks. More info on their site http://www.trickstuff.de/eng/prod_auto.htm
They use such disks on ever day driven M3 car of one workers and no problem when cold, but very good for track days! I'm thinking of getting some to my car

Mmmm... I go funny at the mention of carbon. I think I'll stick with the £39ers. The DS3000s might be worth a thought though. I want bite!

ye, but I will fit those carbon on race car, It's not good to change brake disks in endurance race, you can loose from 2 to 5 min on that

Heh, nervaz remembers that race, when their team changed about 10 sets of brake pads and don't now how much disks during the race ))). Team mechanics did that fast .

I've said, that they will need EBC red stuff, or something, but nobody listened .

I was just team manager, but nobody listened and they wanted to use stock brakes but next year they used EBC Blue Stuff special brake pads for endurance, and no need to change.

By the way to change only brake pads time was only 1 min 30 sec
