    leaking rear caliper

hi.. im losing brake fluid from the seal where the handbrake cable connects to the caliper.

would a good second hand caliper be okay to replace it with? or would a new item be better?

Or would it be better to have the caliper repaired/rebuilt? if that's possible?

its for the A6 c4 avant AEL quattro.

    thanks in advance.

I use Andrew page and tps for everything these days. I recently needed a caliper for a t25 recently. They were nla everywhere. Pages collected had it refurbished and back the next day for about 60 sheets. I do have the luxury of trade though.

If you can't get a re-built caliper, they're quite easy to rebuild, I've done mine. You'll need a set of these:-

And a seal kit from Big Red
