So ideally on the 17s whats best et 37/8 or the et 45 I've seen .. I do have a set of 15mm spacers I can use ..

C5 S6 wheels at 17x8 et35
B5 S4 wheels are 17x7.5 et 45

I went for S6 wheels as they are the right ET without spacers and wider.

From what I remember trying the centre caps from 16" avus wheels dont clip straight it, but do fit in the hole so should be able to be made to fit, I will try and see if I can find a spare cap to test fit again.

As the cap actually fits the hole I think a retainer could be sorted

17 from S3 at the front, 17 from S4 at the back

and with 245 40 at the front and 225 45 at the rear , like the S1 in competition, larger tyres at the front !!

larger offset from the S3 ones make a perfect balance car in corners, no more understeering , really changes everything !

Cheers Andy, will need to weigh up refurb cost on top of purchase cost and see if it's worth it .. A there's brand new sets around to consider. falso want to make sure the 996 t will fit def fit under with 330 odd disks...
