Full Length Braided Lines - Downsides?

    Hi,

i have been considering, for ease, running braided lines fron the MC to the calipers. will there be any performance issues with doing this?

one downside i can think of is that they will be heavier than traditional brake pipes possibly?

    cheers for any input.

    Jase.

They also allow more expansion than a solid pipe. Softer brakes is the result. But only slightly.

The more hard pipe the better - braided lines still swell, just less than OEM (cheap) reinforced rubber. Over a long length you will get a soft pedal and less line pressure for the same pedal effort = less braking performance like-for-like.

To replace the rubber hoses sure but
don't replace the hard lines with braided
          stainless.
