Good to know that they're good from cold. Having just done the engine rebuild & upgrade and still needing engine mounts plus needing new discs, I got dfuscs and pads for under half that
When I'm flus, I may treat the old girl.

Initial impressions are that they're strong. Light pressure was causing the ABS to cut in on a wet road during the bedding in test run. When they're properly bedded in, I'll get them smoking hot and they should be good to go.
Old discs were totally shot and had cracks all over the surface from overheating.Cheers'en, AndyC

EBC Blue. They squeak so aren't the best for town but seem to be very good otherwise. Not sure on track capability as I've not done a track day with them yet. If my budget was bigger, I'd have gone for Pagids.Cheers'en, AndyC

Have just been having a look, the "Pagid S" pads which look like a good option, blurb:
"Pagid S Sportspads have been specifically designed for high performance brake system usage on public roads, but it is no secret that their origin is the race track and where they truly belong. High friction, low fade characteristics and low pad wear over a wide temperature range make these pads ideal for use in club racing, track days and on public roads."
Was it the RS's that you were looking at?Comment

Update on this after Combe: While the pads weren't terrible, I would not recommend them.
After getting a heat cycle through them, they grumbled like hell for a few laps on the second session and felt poor. The rumble went away and performance improved a bit but the pads just had no initial bite and required one heck of a push on the pedal to work properly.
I ended up braking earlier, as I had little confidence in the pads and at Combe, you need to believe in your brakes!
The pads never faded as such but when the performance isn't up to spec, fade is the least of your worries.
So, if you're considering Bluestuff then based on my experience, they're noisy and crude on the road and lack-lustre on the track.
I'll be looking at going back to DS2500s all round, unless another decent option shows itself.
I'll be looking at options again when these are more worn, as I'm not made of money and they are at least stronger than stock Pagid or Textars.Cheers'en, AndyC
