URS4 UFO, will standard 100/a6 stuff fit?

As title really, I have a URS4 with completely shot UFOs on it, could I just swap the whole assembly out for lower model V6/2.0 stuff?
CV spline same size or can you swap the CVs over to match?
Is the front setup the same between quattro and fwd?
Are 100/a6 quattro rear brakes the same as S4/6? And interchangeable too?

Braking performance isn't too much of a concern as the whole setup will be going in a much lighter car

    Ta!

    Hi

Most people swap out for the HP2 struts from the URS6.

The rears are different on the URS4 and URS6 as they are larger vented discs.
If I remember the A6 quattro rears are solid discs.

Go for the HP2 struts from UrS6. It's a straight swap. The rears on the UrS are 269 vented, none of the lower models have those.

I believe the spline is identical.i have seen automatic urs4 with A6 V6 strut assembly and brake.
All c4s is sharing the same outer cv joints iirc but inner(automatic vs manual)

Forget that idea. You want stronger brakes not weaker brakes.

With UFO struts you have a few options:

            DIY :conversaton UFO to HP2:

There may also be a swap from UFO to Cayenne 8-pots.

Or go with the later UrS4 and UrS6 HP2 struts and HP2 brakes or HP2 struts and Cayenne 8-pots like Popdemonic:

Complete bolt on kit? Price? PM me

Obviously the V6 stuff would be a downgrade but I am the ultimate skinflint and I'm not too concerned with braking power, V6 would be plenty adequate for the application Lower model stuff will be a lot cheaper and easier to get hold of hence the question

Perhaps a used Yaris would be more suitable for you needs and budget?

The car it's all going in weighs about as much a Yaris so maybe if Yaris brakes are a straight fit...

remember with generic C4 brakes, there're still 2 variations on the disc types.early C4s has solid disc and later has vented disc.i believe the diameter for the later models is slightly bigger iirc.yeah the generic C4s brake should be working fine. just be cautious and not pushed her to limits.

Sorry. Have to disagree. 172 hp C4100/A6 vs 227 plus hp UrS4/S6. I would not recommend 100/A6 brakes with thin solid rotors front and rear unless you are going to only drive the UrS to church on Sundays, through 30 kph school zones. In which case you should sell it.

As above I don't care what anyone says you can never have too good brakes, I'd rather have better than downgrade to worse even if it's to save money to buy a yaris

No Mystic Meggery required, the running gear from a URS4 is being transplanted into a lighter car, as I already highlighted 3 times... What the car is, is irrelevant.
