Steering wheel airbag deployment

Can anyone tell me if there is an impact speed at which the steering wheel airbag deploys on an S2 coupe ABY?

It should be related to negative G force rather then speed/mph

There is an accelerometer under the centre console IIRC. It will trigger the airbag deployment above a certain threshold of deceleration (G force like Stefano says)
