Abs Light Comes And Go's On S2 Coupe 1991

After previous attempts sorting my ABS problems, i still have niggles going on!! I don't get much spare time these days!! Taken another look at my S2 this week, i canno't seem to fathom out it's problems!! Start up the S2 and no lights appear, press the footbrake whilst starting and my foot sinks down as if the Accumulator/Bomb is working fine?? Set off moving and i get a solid pedal and rubbish brakes!! Then the pedal sinks a bit and Brakes are restored fine but ABS Light is on again?? Done the Bomb test and soon as my engine go's off, i tried the test and i have a solid pedal?? But the car pulls up fine when Abs light has activated?? I have No Red Warning light coming on either for Braking system?? All sensors seem ok?? Fitted a replacement
ECU under rear seat to no avail, also tried another ABS Relay under dash?? Any ideas guys?? Thanks in advance.

I think my first place to go would be the brake bomb. My s2 played up for two years with abs light ect. Got a replacement bomb of Pete from Quattro corner . Sorted it. It's so easy to do and you also know it will need doing at some point. Good luck with it regards Lynn
