Does the front b7 S4 calliper fit the S2

Guys,

It’s now time to upgrade the brakes, made a mistake a few years back and sold my Porsche big red so now I have to find a cost effective set or an alternative setup.

I have asked this before and was unable to get an answer.

Can the B7 S4 front calliper fit onto the front of an S2 1996 ABY and is there a disc available.

I can get a new calliper from Audi for 188 pound.

Trying to get the 996.351.425/426 is proving to be silly money, shipping is another cost issue and they are used so overhaul will add to the expense.

Does anybody have any info on the possibility of fitting B7 S4 callipers onto the S2.

I have been offered the B5 S4 callipers the Alum/cast iron which looks like it has been done before.

The lug spacing doesn't match, but I am sure you could use them with a suitable bracket.
B6/B7 S4 front rotor is a heavy lump at 345x30mm. They work well on the S4 though at ~ 1800Kg so will stop an S2 very nicely.

I see the B7 S4 rears are also suitable for the S2, not sure if that includes the hand brake.

Error404 Are you sure the B7 S4 fronts fits? just a simple bracket?

I'm sure it can be made to work, depending on wheel size - you'd need 18" wheels I think.
Custom bracket I'd imagine since this is not a common conversion.
