Abs Light Comes And Go's On S2 Coupe 1991

Thankyou for the reply about the Brake Bomb on my last thread, i am going to fit one shortly, tested the pedal after turning my engine off and the pedal was solid straight away!! Only a couple of things are now puzzling me here?? When i drive the car at first all is ok but the pedal is hard, then it sinks to normal position and lights up my ABS light but once it's done this, the brakes are good?? What do's happen though is, once the pedal gives way after depressing it, the pedal feels like it has resistance at first, as if something in the system is jammed then gives way and free's off before the ABS Light comes on?? My other thought is that, other members posts mention the Red Warning Symbol coming on when the Brake Bomb has gone?? Is this always the case?? Only i never get the Red light only ABS??

It may be a faulty abs sensor or pump, have you pulled the fault codes?

I will try what you have said thankyou, no i havn't pulled any codes yet mate, is it easy enough on older 3B S2 ??
