With a buy it now price of £95 these mounts are not good value. If I read the ad correctly they are raw unfinished 'universal' castings that need machining to fit, including the drilling of the mounting holes.
A more economical option is to get a a pair of SEAT Cupra caliper mounts for £34 and have them machined to fit. They already have the mounting holes in the same relative positions as the RS2 mount and just need machining to get the caliper in the right position radially and axially. I will be using a pair of these brackets when I fit my 996/A8-314mm brake upgrade in the next couple of weeks. With a great deal of help from Tekkno300 we have had the brackets machined so that the caliper is centred on the disc and the pads come to just inside the chamfer on the outside of the disc. This gives 3.5mm clearance inside 16" Avus wheels which I hope is going to be enough to avoid any fouling problems that some people have reported when using the RS2 mount.
