RS2 Hard pipe replacement for 996 front calipers

So when I did my 996 front caliper conversion, years ago, I did not have access to RS2 hard pipes here in the states. So I made my own hard pipes. They have worked just fine for 12 years.

But I have found it a pain to move the caliper out of the way when doing work on the front end. So I am looking for a flexible replacement. I would like to know what any one used for a flex line from the cross over brake pipe to the caliper.

I don't want to use stainless, because of past problems, so I am looking for a OEM replacement. I measured the length of my hard line from the cross over bracket to the caliper, and it is around 210mm, in length. Now when I put the cross over tube back in, it will shorten this length by about 10mm.

I currently looking at using B4Q rear brake lines which are M10X1X215mm. It is the same brake line used on A4Qs and early 100Qs.

Did any one use a OEM flex line from the crossover pipe to the caliper? If so, what car did it come off of?

So after some deliberation, I found an alternative on my own car. I used the rear line from the 90CQ on the front. This was used as the line from the cross over tube to the 996 caliper. Works perfectly.

        Hi
And why not use all flexible hose from the car to the brake?
Forget the central hardpipe and put a long hose.

The line from the inner fender to the cross over tube is the line that gets all the flex. The one from the crossover tube to the caliper doesn't need any flex. If you put a line all the way from the inner fender to the 996 caliper, it would need to be somewhere over 500mm long. You would still have to find some way to secure it at the strut tube, or the tire might fray it. I doubt if you could find a off the shelf 500+mm brake line.
This way it is standard part usage without finding something special.
