          Very impressive mate

Have you done a stud conversion? or does the RS2 come with studs as standard?

How did you refurb the calipers? Did you do it yourself and what product did you use?

RS2 comes with studs as standard.

I did it together with a mate who is a mobile paint repairer . I did all the 'prepping' and he did the spraying.

I started off by scrubbing them thoroughly with traffic film remover & then 'keyed' the surface with scotch pads. They were then given a coat of primer followed by two-pack base coat & lacquer. The colour is actually Hyundai "Poppy Red". The new decals were applied prior to lacquer going on.

Nice work. I looks like they were sprayed in situ.
Good before and after shots too.

Yes we did them in situ. We were going to take them off but it would have taken a lot longer & nobody sees the back anyway

How the lacquer stands high temp ? As i've paited my calipers red , but didn't use the lacquer , was afraid it will crack on high temps.

Or is it special lacquier ?

Hey Pete, do you fancy coming down to Richmond and doing that to mine?! My calipers are black, but I quite fancy having them in Tart Red to match the tarty red of my Coupe
                    Nice work though.

It's just ordinary 2-pack lacquer Vadim. Hopefully it won't crack. My mate thinks it will be OK.

Cheers Dan & Beetie. It's the prep work which takes the time. If you want your's doing I would suggest doing this yourself, i.e. cleaning, flattening & keying surface. Then getting one of these mobile paint repairers to come round & do the spraying. It probably took about an hour to do each one.

LOL - No mate they were fooked anyway. As you can see in the first pic the lacquer was peeling off all over.
