    RS2 rear brake pipe routing

    Hello,

The previous owner of my RS2 was rather creative when routing the rear brake pipes to the caliper. Tie wraps are not a safe solution for me!

I want to route the rear brake pipes as original, but I can't find the correct examples.
    See ETKA:

See ETKA: what is the routing of parts 14 - 8 - 15

Can anyone please post a picture of the original rear brake pipe routing?

    Thanks in advance!

I hope these can help you if not I might have a few more somewhere the last one's are not the best you get the idea of routing

The brake pipe that fits under the exhaust heat shield and over the back axle is fun to do if the axle is in place

      Thanks a lot!
      Pictures are clear to me.

It looks like I'm missing an attachment point on the wishbone.

These are pictures of my cable routing. Definitely not a safe solution!

I'll have to find a solution to create an additional attachment hook on the wishbone.

        Wow, that's rather interesting!

That brake hose is actually the factory part even though it looks like someone has adapted a standard hose with a short 90 degree pipe and 2 unions. Audi charge €85 for that!

I might have a set of lower wishbones from RS2 on spare. Neet to go though my spares pile first. Let me know if you are lookig for a set to get your brakeline mounted as it should. Guessing your also living in the northern part of belgium?

Thanks a lot for your pictures!
It is clear to me how I can correct the messy routing from the previous owner.

@Blux: I am indeed from Vlaanderen. I might be interested in your lower wishbones. Please check pm ;-)
