    Hi!,
Get him to measure down the guide plate if you were interested. That will tell us what pads it uses. To look at they are virtually identical.

            You are probably right.

By chance I was in Letchworth today, where these items are located and tried to arange to see them but the seller "was not arround" so I couldn't inspect them. So will probably give it a miss. Its just tempting as I need/want front and rears and the new option is not as cheap as I would like.

              Hi!,

I have measured the height of the pad guide down to its stop and its @73mm. I think its about 10mm less on an RS2 caliper. That seems to be a good way to identify a "Big Red". The calipers are very similiar looking. There does not seem to be any cast in p/n's, unlike the monoblocs, only stickers!
Perhaps someone could gives us the corresponding measurement off an RS2 caliper for reference. Might help identification in the future!
