My rear caliper has ceased, as soon as you touch the brakes it will not release, what should i do? IF i force the pads apart it's ok then touch the brakes and it wont return, is there a fix for this, it's on the drive with it's wheel off now is there anything i can do with out stripping the caliper down?
Mike
been up this road many times,if you do manage to free up it will probably start sticking not long after, ebc do a good deal on recon calipers, last ones i got cost me about 100 quid for a pair fully reconditioned,is handrake cable sticking?or is it the piston sticking??????
No it's the piston sticking, the hand brake works just fine. Why couldnt it be the handbrake that would have been an easy fix!
Looks like it might be a call to EBC then,
