You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Following previous posts I am now needing further advice on my brakes. The bomb is bombed out and needs replaced. Also, I need new discs & pads on the front. Where can I get my new bomb and as I am in the Northern outpost of Carlisle is there anywhere North England or Scotland who could do the work? What discs/pads would anyone recommend? Its getting dangerous now and having trouble stopping the car!!!! Thanks all.....
VAG parts if you want a new one. Ebay if you want one that's equally phooked. I'm sure that a wanted ad on the forum would be a good start anyways.
Not too sure about discs and pads. Mintex 1144 pads have always served me well on previous cars and are on the shopping list but no S2 experience with fast road so far. Sorry.
I would be interested in what recommendations you get as my Zimmerman discs and standard Pagid pads are gash!
