    Standard A8 323x30 rotor hat height ??

Can anyone tell me the hat height for the standard A8 rotors that people are using with 996 calipers.
Also I've noticed that some 996 calipers can fit the 32mm wide porsche rotors without any machining, but mine will need to be machined and have already been just to fit 30mm A8 rotors...whats the difference between these calipers otherwise ?

I've just measured the 323x30 A8 discs I have under my desk and they are 60mm deep from front to back.

The 996 non turbo calipers are designed for 28mm Porsche rotors, not the larger 32mm. If you use the A8 323X30 or the 314X30 rotor you take about 1mm off the pad pins, using the 32mm wide Porsche you would have to remove more material from the pins.

The A8 323X30 rotor has a total height of 59.5mm according to Zimmerman.

If you want just the hat height, just subtract the 30mm for the rotor.
