    Brake options?

Hi i no of the porsche upgrade options available but is there any other options out there? I was looking on ebay and there are kits of ap racing out there but i dont no if they would fit. Would these fit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...980989463&rd=1.
I understand that custom carriers would probably have to be made up and also different discs but would the calipers fit?
I have done a search but all i can find is info on the porsche 996 upgrade

Dont bother with those ones. If you for AP's get the 330mm discs at least

Both AMD and Star Performance do a good range of brake upgrades for Audi.
      Past: S2 ABY coupe RS2 spec with lots of mods, S4 B5 saloon, RS6 C5 saloon, S8 D2 FL, RS4 B7 saloon, S4 B6 avant

      Present: S4 B8 avant, MRC Stage 2

Probably because the Porsche conversion route is the best cost effective method using OEM parts for the dailly driver.

Last time I contacted AMD they said that the S2 was too old for them to do anything with.
Don't know of Star Performance so can't comment.

Star do Alcon, but they'll do anything if you ask them. Also do a search for Movit. Virtually the same as the Porker brakes, but without the badge.

I've got Mov'it 322mm fronts on mine and can't fault the stopping power. Mine came as whole kit - discs, 4 pot calipers, carriers, pads and braided lines - and I believe you can buy individual bits separately. IIRC they also now (they didn't when I got mine) do a 342mm kit in direct fit for the S2, although I guess that won't fit under a standard 16 wheel.

Also have the track pads for mine, which have proved reliable under extreme heavy repeat braking round the tracks.

A mate (drives a jap sports car) swears by his AP 6 pots for track use, although they judder a bit when cold - but then the Mov'its are noisy with the track pads in when cold and braking from low speed.

              Ck.
