    cylinder down?

    Hello everyone!

Engine sounds rough, think its a cylinder down, wants to jump out of my bay, really bad at low revs. I realise it could be a lot of issues.. but here are some main events prior to this issue...

quarter tank of BP with some nitro booster as usual...

had engine clean / steam ...

    drove around 60 miles ..

another quarter tank with-out nitro booster ..

    parked up for 30 minutes..

drove 2 miles and issue started ..

this is all within one day.. im thinking water in the electrical works? wheres best place to look first?

Despite the ABY / ADU / AAN spark plug cover / coil pack carrier having a rubber seal, steam cleaning does get water in the spark plug bores, which eventually seeps down, wetting the electrodes. Remove the plugs and let them dry naturally, then remove the fuel pump relay, or remove the fuel pump fuse (#13).

Next, spin the engine over twice on the starter motor, each time for at least 5 seconds. This will expell any moisture in the cylinders. Refit the spark plugs and cover, the lastly, replace the fuel pump fuse or relay, then try again. Hopefully, that should have cured your problem.

Seems problem has shifted onto something else.

I dried it all out, cleaned spark plugs etc.. and it fired on all cylinders, sounded as it should.

At this time i thought problem went away and i made the above post.

But when driving, it judders from 2.5 to 3krpm and then pulls all way to redline (i presume) without juddering but also without turbo activity (i presume, very slow)

            no boost guage

            is my turbo shot?
