Rear Wiper problem.

My rear wiper will not switch off once switched on !. Is this a common fault ?

MikeS2 had a similar problem and it was a problem with the wiper relay.

It was the relay which had a burned track inside. The root cause was the switch which needed replaced a short time after.

I'd suspect the switch is more likely the problem.

Try squirting some WD-40 onto the contacts on the stalk first - i did this and it cured it - still fine to this day after 5 years of owning the car!!!!!!
