  • Fuel trip computer.

My commputer seems to have frozen, only the MPG reading. The average was on 17.5, when reset remained on 0.0 and the constant MPG is on 23.5. Have unplugged Bty and fuse to reset whole system. Has been alike for a few days?
    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
    Martin.

Sorry,. no idea with fuel computer, but I do have a drivers side headlamp washer unit.
It has the black nozzle itsert missing, but vagparts should be able to help there. Can't remember where I read it, but I think the nozzle insert from a 96 Passat fits.
Pm me and we'll sort something out

Mine did this for a while, I just removed the cluster plugs (while Jas replaced my Temp display with a dim LED) for a while and it worked when refitted.

Removed plugs, worked a treat. Got 30.4MPG on a run to the SW and 345miles to a tank of super.

                    Thanks all
