Windscreen Wiper parking,

Recently whenever i use the windscreen washers the wipers stop as soon as i release the stalk, as in they will stop in the middle of the wind screen and you have to hold the washers on and release at the right moment when the wipers are at the bottom of the window.

BUT if i use the intermittent setting or normal wiper modes and switch off they do park down the bottom as they should. Any ideas?

I assume the parking sensor is inside the wiper motor so why would it only do this on the wash and wipe mode

Perfect opportunity to replace with a programmable intermittent relay from VAGparts!
Couldn't live without one after getting one as standard on my VR6 - first mod I did on my avant

I already have one Its defiantly one of those "how did i live without" mods, surprisingly useful. It’s only been in a month or two so I’m beginning to wonder if it’s the source of my problems
