got an e as for error coming up on the computer only on the miles left or does it me empty if so why hasnt the warning light come on

havent read the technical meaning in the user manual
but from what i experience the 'E' is for empty. Its calculating that ur empty in range, i.e. about to stop. The fuel tank symbol usually comes up a few minutes later which is based on what is actually left in the tank.

The range is based on driving style as well as remaining fuel. With approx 2 gallons of fuel remaining, driving WOT
can bring up the "E" symbol, but the autocheck light may not come on. The autocheck warning is based solely on remaining fuel. With 2 gallons remaining in the tank and WOT for approx. 2 minutes, although the range will probably show "E", the fuel level sender will still show just above the reserve, and of course, the autocheck light will not illuminate.
